Our Sterling Silver bracelets (Ball, Heart and Star) are a joy to behold.  Exclusively available for us from design genius Ginny D.  The matching necklaces are just as pretty.  We love them for their versatility - there aren't many pieces that work just as well with jeans as with a little black dress. These 'forever' gifts work for girls of all ages: a Christening Present, a Bridesmaid gift, a Sweet 16th or more grown up 18th or 21st.  Their elegance is in their simplicity.

Small bracelets measure 16.5cm and the larger bracelets 19.5cm - £55 and £60 respectively.

New Product Alert!

New Product Alert!

This week, we will mostly be celebrating the Little Present Company's hottest-property, Maxine Pharoah.

Each clock, mirror and blackboard is hand made in her St. Ives workshop in Cornwall. Using her skills of collage and story telling, Maxine has a range of personal and bespoke gifts for children that will be treasured for years to come. Each piece is stunning with eye-catching colours and vintage-style materials. Some items are part of a limited edition of 50.

Handmade using traditional materials, from blanket, cottons, linen, buttons and with stitched details, her cushions are personalised with the name of your choice to create an absolutely stunning keepsake gift. The cushions feature a high quality printed image taken from her own original artwork, using gorgeous colour combinations it will look great in any stylish nursery or bedroom. Complete with feather pad, and finished with a button flap on the reverse, the cushions are handmade to order with much care and attention to detail, and to the very highest standard.

She sells through a few websites, but she is one of our biggest treasures, and we have her most affordable prices.

Each pretty thing can be personalised with full Christian names, nicknames, dates or left blank – great gifts for your bridesmaids, pageboys, niece, nephew, newborn, neighbour’s tennis partner’s dog.  For £24.50 per item, it’s an affordable and thoughtful present.  Call/email an order and we will offer free P&P until the end of May 2013.

Bring on the Bookends

Bring on the Bookends

Look at our fun range of Bookends in stock! We have Soldiers, Ponies, Jolly Roger Pirates (£19.95) and Pirate Wood Ships (£28). They make a thoughtful present for a child who has a collection of books on display, and adds an element of fun to shelves.

Bookends don't necessarily have to display a collection of books, but are also useful to hold a dvd collection or little boxes of ds games.  These are fun, colourful and useful - so therefore a great gift that the kids AND the mums will love.

Find them at our http://www.littlepresentcompany.co.uk/birth-gifts.asp  and have one of these cheeky little mites to stay.

Yo Ho Ho and a Bottle full of Rum-coloured Fizzy Pop

Yo Ho Ho and a Bottle Full of Rum-Coloured Fizzy Pop

The Jolly Roger is a flag flown to identify a ship's crew as Pirates. In the 17thand 18th centuries, the flag was flown to frighten pirates' victims into surrendering without a fight, since it conveyed the message that the attackers were outlaws who were not bound by the usual rules of engagement.

We celebrate the Jolly Roger motif, and whilst it has its roots in the blood-thirsty, we love it's cheeky nature with a whole host of children's accessories. Each of the Skulls is smiling (gappy, toothless smiles, granted) but they mean no harm. They are as keen as mustard to become part of your little boy's bedroom and playroom: the Bookends are a particularly useful item at only £20 (reduced from £28), as with the 3-rung pegs £12 (down from £15) .  All this Pirate Paraphernalia is sure to deter little sisters from entering without permission from the Pirate Captain himself.  The reduced prices are because THERE IS ONLY 1 PEG RACK AND 1 SET OF BOOKENDS LEFT IN STOCK, ever. http://www.littlepresentcompany.co.uk/sale.asp

So sail along to our Good Ship 'Little Present Company' and feast your eyes on our treasure chests full of cushions, canvases (£33 and £40) and our brand new knitted stripy Pirate appliqué baby jumpsuit thingy (£18). Oo-ar it's a bucket load of joy.

The Big Stock Sale!

Dear Friends

We have had a great 2011 at the Little Present Company, keeping up with the ever-changing range of presents which are available on the market, and staying in touch with our loyal customer base.

Times are very hard in retail at the moment, and with this in mind, we are undergoing an image overhaul. It is not a full face-lift, just a few essential tweaks hither and thither to keep looking young and fresh enough to help you with your gift needs.

Whilst we have always had a strong link with the annual birthday and Christmas market, the strength of our business has always been the Christening presents. We have focused our energies on sourcing hand-made local furniture for children (Windsor chairs, Haymaker chairs, stools, settles and Irish Oak chairs) and delicate designer jewellery (by super talented Ginny D) to run alongside our fantastic range of personalised framed pictures and canvases.

So it's out with the wooden toys, nightwear and newborn clothing, and in with the hand-selected one-off presents which can be cherished and last a lifetime.

Our website will be changing soon, so if you would like to take advantage of some seriously big reductions from our stock range, please visit us at www.littlepresentcompany.co.uk/sale.asp

With kindest regards and thanks again for your custom

Ginny D joins forces with LPC

After years of working in the equine industry Ginny decided to change direction and move into the design and creation world. Being artistic in nature and from a family with a huge design talent (Ginny's brother being the international designer Giles Deacon) this all came relatively easily. It's obviously in the genes!

The Ginny D brand was established in 2001 and has gone from strength to strength with a loyal customer base. With each season comes a new range, each style touching on a trend and, consequently, her pieces sell like the proverbial hot cake.

It is with great pleasure, and an equal portion of excitement, that we introduce the exclusive range of children and young adult's sterling silver bracelet and necklaces. Each is hallmarked and has the Ginny D logo. From £55 for a piece of timeless style, we believe this is the perfect Christening present or a gift for a very special little girl.

Visit our website http://www.littlepresentcompany.co.uk/silver-gifts.asp in the silver gifts or Christening section.

Cool Britannia

Just as 'Cool Britannia' was a short-lived piece of media aimed at promoting the UK to a world audience, so too is the forthcoming summer of 2012 putting Britain back on the world's stage.
Thanks to our Brit Pop and the contemporary notoriety of Brit Art (I thank you, David Hockney RA) we have never had more to boast about: so let's get behind our superb current day heroes of the track, field, sail and bat. Hang the double sided cotton Union Jack bunting around your home with pride. Put on the tv and follow Ben Ainslie's jibe and tacking along the waters so that Britannia really do rule the waves again.

We can recapture that 'Summer of Love', when Britain, or London at least, really was cool. London landmarks like Big Ben and our classic double decker buses are recognised world-over. Put one of our bespoke Bus cushions on a bed or in the nursery (http://www.littlepresentcompany.co.uk/prodpage.asp?ProdID=389) for £33 with your child's name.

The forthcoming 60th anniversary of the Queen's reign is a hugely anticipated event. The only other British monarch to celebrate a Diamond Jubilee was Queen Victoria in 1897. When we have our long bank holiday weekend in early June, dress your babies in our funky crown babyvests and babygrows - Long Live the Queen! http://www.littlepresentcompany.co.uk/prodpage.asp?ProdID=438. Invite in the neighbours, serve tea in a bone china cup and eat triangular cucumber sandwiches. It is a great year to bring out the British in you.

Celebrate with us at www.littlepresentcompany.co.uk.
